Zane Talkington : Poetry in Motion

“Before Diana, acting felt like a math problem. I spent thousands of dollars on schools and classes that drained the joy and wonder from what I once loved. I was stuck, disconnected, and uninspired. Diana brought me back to the playground. The Imagined Life is more than an acting class — it’s about reawakening our childlike imagination, embracing our shared humanity, and cultivating our mission as storytellers. Diana helped me reclaim my imagination, free myself from fear, and step into my calling. The Imagined Life is the only class you’ll ever need.”
Zane Talkington

Zane’s insatiable curiosity has led her to many actor playgrounds in the U.S. and abroad. Onstage she has played Izzy in Rabbit Hole and Viola in Twelfth Night

She’s the lead on both the short film Party Planning for Adults, coming to Amazon Prime Video, and The Object of Murder, streaming now on Investigation Discovery. She can also be seen on the feature film, Arctic Armageddon on APPLE TVᐩ.

Previously Zane also produced, wrote and starred in a limited series shot entirely in Iceland. Which has aptly prepared her for her latest project this Fall.

Zane will be starring, producing and writing in the limited series, Poppy – a retelling of the well-known fairytale Rapunzel, set against the background of the cultural upheaval of 1969 America.

The Acting Class That Rids You of Actor Concerns

Zane’s teacher and Imagined Life founder, Diana Castle, encourages a play spirit faithful to our childlike imagination. Acting is a child’s game and as such, the “stage” is a playground, not a proving ground. True creative freedom only takes place when you allow your inner child to play and be led by the universal wellspring of innocent, limitless wonder, awe and insatiable curiosity.

Thanks to The Imagined Life® and the daily creative practice Diana teaches, Zane plays the child’s game, staying open and saying “yes” as she excavates deeper into the human truths of each story.

The soil of your imagination is fertile and full of all human possibilities that have existed, and will continue to exist for eternity. But when you focus on actor concerns, you stand on sterile ground and can only go as far as your fear will allow you.

Zane gracefully releases these restricting concerns and now her imagination paints vivid strokes onto every blank canvas her Imagined Life offers. She not only tells stories authentically through empathic storytelling, but also through her poetry, and as host of her mental health podcast – TalkToNobody.

Acting Training That Feeds the Senses

It’s a symphonic existence the moment you start creating FROM your innermost human node. When you tune in to your many SELVES, life presents itself differently to you, and your expansion begins.

Every one of Zane’s senses have bloomed to the poetry of life that is all around her. Poetry that only a well-fed creative soul can glean. Ready to feed your human soul? Your first meal starts HERE.
