Ja’Quan is a Professional Empathizer® hailing from New Orleans. At his young age, he has already shapeshifted into incredible beings and told impactful stories. He prominently played the legendary civil rights activist John Lewis in National Geographic’s Limited Series Genius : MLK/X – available to stream on Hulu and Disney+.  And he was also in Apple TV’s Manhunt playing Union soldier Alec Leconte. 

He plays opposite Emma Stone and Hong Chau in Yorgos Lanthimos and Searchlight Pictures’ Kinds of Kindness as Jonathan. You can look forward to the next couple of projects Ja’Quan has coming out in the near future. The first one is the MGM feature film Nickel Boys, alongside fellow Imagined Lifer Sam Malone! The second one is a substantial role in a Ryan Coogler/Michael B. Jordan project. More to come on that.
