Imagined Lifer Sam Harris is a vast treasure trove of creativity. Aside from being a prolific actor, Sam is also an accomplished singer, songwriter, author, and activist. He’s a multi-platinum recording artist whose voice has graced many venues from Broadway, to Carnegie Hall, and London’s West End. 

He got his start at the age of 21 when he captivated the hearts of 25 million weekly viewers across America in the premiere season of Star Search. 

Since that stellar start he has cemented his place on Broadway and received a Tony®, Outer Critics Circle and Drama Desk nominations for his work in Cy Coleman’s The Life, a Drama League Award and Drama Desk nomination for his role in Tommy Tune’s Grease, and in Mel Brooks’ The Producers. 

Sam has also been kept busy in the TV world. He was Perry Pearl in CBS’ The Class, Jackie in CBS’ Rules of Engagement and Jason on TNT’s Major Crimes. 

His novel The Substance of All Things is a “heart wrenching and humorous tale of mentors, mothers, fathers, love and redemption, prophets and charlatans, miracles and faith.”

Now he gears up to take over Broadway’s Supper Club in Midtown Manhattan on November 1st and 2nd at 7pm, in a live cabaret titled Beyond the Rainbow. 

November 1st’s show will be live streamed so everyone can partake in the magic. Prepare to be serenaded by Sam’s unique renditions of Broadway songs, pop and more. It’s sure to be a night of music, joy and astounding story telling.

But Sam persevered and now his upcoming show is a beautiful celebration of all he’s done to regain his gifted voice. He reflects on this with humility as he shares – “I guess obstacles can become blessings when you overcome them.”
