The Online Acting Training That Leads to Leading Roles

Keeping audiences coming back, invested in you and your story, week after week for years to come takes authenticity.

Empathic ownership through an authentic and singular voice, coupled with the level of depth it takes to risk emotional exposure, is developed by consistently exploring, tapping and experiencing the surprises waiting for you at the expansive wellspring of your humanity.

Sophina has empathically stepped into the shoes of the many parts of her, widening her empathetic embrace, for over a decade with her mentor Diana Castle, and her The Imagined Life®  philosophy and practical application. In that time, Sophina has gathered the tools that allow her to stride seamlessly from reality to reality, embodying each story in a multi-layered, unique, surprising as well as recognizably human way.

Pursuing a Meaningful Life

Diana mentored Sophina in the excavation and exploration of the works of August Wilson, guiding her to take ownership of her heritage and her vital voice as an African American artist. One of the writings Diana encourages all of her students to absorb is August Wilson’s The Ground on Which I Stand. Studying this speech by August Wilson has made a profound impact on the trajectory of Sophina’s life and career.

Her exposure to and investigation of August Wilson’s work in Diana’s class led her to become the Founder and Executive Director of Support Black Theatre, a non- profit organization that is carving out opportunities focusing on the development, enrichment and promotion of Black art, Black artists, Black theatres, and Black audiences in Los Angeles. Along with Sophina’s many wins on television, Diana is so deeply proud of this extraordinary achievement!
